Anyone who saw Honolulu in 1941 would have seen many white Navy uniforms flowing through the streets like a river. Everyday life in Honolulu was Military dances, and there were ship band contest. Baseball games between the ships, and boxing matches. A lot of fun laughter and going to the beach.
